Women and girls voices matter in planning and budgeting !
Pro-Femmes/Twese Hamwe in collaboration of CARE Rwanda and other civil society organizations are concerned that Rwandan women and girls continue to be victims of Gender Based Violence (GBV) resulting from deep rooted power inequalities between men and women. Cases of insensitive killing of women are reported almost on a daily basis and teenage pregnancies are on a rise.
We are calling for increased commitment and accountability through central and local government level plans and budgets to implement structural and transformative measures to prevent and respond to gender inequalities.
